These are all handspun, dyed and knitted by me.

I am motivated by colour as you can see, and next to skin softness is really important as scratchy fibre is not something I can tolerate. When it takes so long to make something so unique it makes sense to use the best fibre I can lay my hands on.

These are some of the things I have made over my spinning and textile career. The tent is an Iranian Alachigh. It has a domed frame and is held down with hand made straps and has a central ring like a Yurt.  I made the fleece felted cover over a period of a year and the base decoration is handmade felt with the pattern appliqued onto it.

This is a handspun dyed and knitted shawl designed by myself for a friend who is a gardener, she was going through a hard time so I made this to cheer her up.

This art yarn was designed to represent the sea with seaweed and white tops of waves.

These two lace shawls are made from handspun silk, top left it called Gothic Angel, and top right is called Percy.
